The future of storytelling is about more than 'making the audience' do anything. That's 'old-model-speak.' It is about recognizing that the audience has choice and agency and inviting them to participate. The brilliance and artistry comes is when you create something in which people are willing to invest their most valuable commodities (time, attention and emotion.)
