2022. Michel Dubois, co-awardee of the Horizon-Widera-2021 call for the European project POIESIS

POIESIS examines integrity and integration as prominent vehicles for responsible knowledge creation.

It recognizes the intrinsic value of research practices that align with ethical, legal, and professional standards and ensures integration of relevant societal stakeholders across the research cycle. However, evidence for the impact of research integrity and society’s integration in research on societal (mis)trust in science, research, and innovation, is still lacking. POIESIS will carry out an extensive research programme to systematically examine the interrelatedness of integrity, integration, and trust, exploring also the role of institutions in fostering a research climate that is conducive to societal trust in science.
