Feeling A Little Blue

Feeling A Little Blue

OOTD: 10*6*2015

This is just as comfortable as sweats and just as easy to pull together. As my mother always said 'if you don't want to grow, don't wear pants that grow with you'. When I see a woman wearing sweats or yoga pants outside of the gym I think they have given up. I get dressed every day to honor myself and even if I go no further then my kitchen I still get fully dressed because if I don't I feel lazy, a little sad and lost.

Occasion: None just staying home

Trend: Full Midi Skirt, blue, black and blue

Style: Minimalist

Style Tip:

Mix feminine with masculine by pairing with men's inspired black oxford shoes.

Dressing down a look that you typically would wear during the done by pairing the skirt with a T-shirt.

Something undone, shirt partially untucked

Shopping Details:

Full blue midi skirt from House of Fraiser

Black tee from COS Stores

Purple hepcat sunglusses from Madewell

Black studded oxford from Sam Edelman

Insider's Tip: If you are wanting to create an illusion of being thinner look at the intentional partial untucked tee. It is slightly off to the side and the shirt untucked at hips creates an illusion of a thinner mid area as well as your hips.
