If used properly, pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) can stop transmission of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) with 90% effectiveness. G. Raifman, ScD, a post-doctoral fellow in the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health’s Department of Epidemiology, said in a news release. - See more at: http://www.mdmag.com/medical-news/the-people-most-at-risk-for-hiv-dont-know-about-prep#sthash.Lb9XVPtY.dpuf
