"...The shoot was organized by the Idaho Army National Guard, which had a Humvee and various military equipment at the bottom of the mountain for kids to check out. But Staff Sgt. Trevor Fallows said the shoot also served an important purpose in teaching skiers and snowboarders valuable skills.
“In the military, we utilize a system called shoot, move and communicate,” he said. “With an exercise like this, it helps teach basic skiing fundamentals in conjunction with basic marksmen skills. Plus, it’s just a lot of fun....”
