Sponsored by [ContraptioN] Region Designed by Victor Eton & Walton F. Wainwright A Shopping Region A world concealed beneath waves and time lures explorers, scientists, and others too inquisitive to know better to a quiet fishing hamlet harbouring arcane secrets. Locals bristle at a steam-powered empire’s meddling in affairs beyond their ken, while the intrepid explorers seek knowledge unencumbered by those they consider myopic. Learn the ancient mysteries or protect the enigmatic creatures beneath the ripples of Thunnus Bay.

There can be little doubt that Jade’s interpretation is a welcome returnee to Second Life, and represents a vision of what might actually be the most evocative era of the real Hotel’s history, and does so in a manner that both pays homage to the broader historical context of the Tequendama area whilst perfectly fitting the constraints of a Second Life region. Wanderlust Bench Art Park began on a 512 parcel in 2016. It’s an ongoing experiment and opportunity for busy and productive avatars to share their creative works in a sustainable way. There is an area where we share posters with landmarks to galleries, installations, and events.
The two moon gate portals lead to destinations with art collections, once you’ve accepted the experience.

From land information "The principle is very simple: provide you with ephemeral narrative and photographic scenes. Every 4 months approximately I will offer you a new scene. The project is not yet stable, it is experimental and evolving." Len Teardrop Please don't be alarmed when you land, everything is white except for a few objects. There you will also find a board with the story that is set up and started there for us. This is what is written on this board: This morning she had resigned herself to walking through the mirror. The unknown that hid behind the pale reflection of her slender figure frightened her reason with obscure doubts and insecurities, but her curiosity and need for constant escape made her heart beat with an arrogant rhythm that tempted her to fall beyond the mirror . It all started that morning... Walk between the panels to the recorded door, where you will automatically be teleported up. Click on the photo for the full blog by Susann Decuir

Photographers and bl;oggers are of course more than welcome, we love to see our sim reflected in your pictures. Rezzing is allowed, you will have to join the "Nederlandse Bergen" group for that, but the joining is completely free" Owned by Aloriana Shadowstar Landscaped by Marie Nova

Jim Garand never fails to intrigue / please with his periodic re-designs of Grauland, his Homestead region. Since 2019 he has consistently offered environments for people to visit which have mixed themes and ideas in multiple ways – landscapes, art, architecture, history, mystery, science fiction, and so on. As such, it is always a pleasure to drop in and witness what he has most recently created for people to enjoy. And for me, this is particularly true of the April 2024 edition of the region, which he has called Grauland – Last Trees, as it reminds me of one of my favourite – and potentially one of the most underrated classics of of the genre – science-fiction film, Silent Running. lately I’ve been cruising the (nonexistent) belliwaves more often, for which I have picked up several rezz zones to set sail from. They aren’t special in any particular way (you rezz a boat, and please be gone). Most on the list are on water, but several combine more than one travel option in the same spot. Those are marked with a bookmark next to the region name. Click on the photo for the full blog

When I started this website and was conducting research three and a half years ago, I stumbled upon amazing pictures on Flickr of an abandoned hotel nestled in a tropical paradise. The images were breathtaking, but I was gutted when I found out that the Hotel Del Salto had closed its doors just weeks earlier. Now, creator Jade Koltai has resurrected this gem, and I couldn't resist paying a visit. Click on the photo for the full blog

"Feel welcome and embrace nature at its purest form. Just find a spot to sit and be comfortable, where you can take in the sights, sounds and beauty of nature ❤" вεℓℓα (bellaswan.blackheart) This time the landscaping is kept flat. Wide green areas with sparse vegetation. In the middle, a small stone villa and a small lighthouse are the only buildings.
The whole thing is complemented by different animals and the calm waves of the sea that splash on the shores of this enchanting island

Last week, the owners of Magicland, a Disneyland tribute park, announced the place would soon be closing, the last day it would be open on Sunday April 14. Over the weekend, the park which often had just a few people, sometimes just one or two, swelled in numbers as people came by for one last look, to give the rides one more spin. Or perhaps they heard about the place and kept putting off making a trip over, and finally went when time was running out. Click on the photo for the full blog

The first thing to say is that it's an adult club, particularly a dance venue, with a Motel attached. Regardless, I was impressed by how ownerSandra (sahandra) had developed it. This includes free rooms with furniture as good as in some hotels where you have to pay, and a really nice, albeit small, spa area.

Within Do you Like Gold? Gem takes us on something of a retrospective of a number of his more 3D-centric installations – notably Demiurge, Skyscrapers and Arcadia – in the form of reproductions of some of the structures used in those installations, which here have been given a gold leaf effect finish. Each structure is presented on its own plinth, together with notes on both its inspiration from the physical world and details on the installation(s) in which it appeared.
